Where’s the Ramadan Moon?

We have a simple yet fun idea in store for you and we're so excited about it! First things first..get the following materials ready and follow through.

What you'll need:

  •  A jar lid (any size will do)
  • A piece of transparency sheet cut to the size of your jar lid
  • A glue gun
  • A round sequin (or a crescent shaped sequin if you have any)
  • A bunch of different star sequins (we're using different sizes and colours)

If you have a crescent shaped sequin at hand, then you won't need to do this step. If you don't, this won't take a minute. Cut the round sequin into a crescent moon as shown below.

Done?! Now add all the star sequins and the crescent moon you just cut to the jar lid and mix them up together!

Using your glue gun, go all around the edge of the lid then add the pre cut piece of transparency carefully making sure you haven't left out a part unsealed. You don't want those sequins coming out.

Where's the Ramadan Moon?

Give it and Shake and basically that's it! Now where's the Ramadan Moon? Can you spot it? Have a go at it with family and time yourselves. Who can spot it faster?!

  1. Am I supposed to leave enough space between the trasparency sheet and the lid so that the sequins move when I shake it?
